From the beginning we knew that standard building methods— where materials sit out in the weather until they’re used and complex work is done by an assortment of daylaborers and subcontractors — simply could not create the kind of homes we wanted to build.
We discovered a better method.
We reasoned that we could achieve a much higher standard of quality if our homes were constructed in a climate-controlled environment, by long-term employees with specific areas of expertise. Each craft — framing, electrical, tile, cabinetry, bathrooms, finish work, etc.— would be performed by category specialists. Then, in about a month or two from the time customers purchased a StalwartBuilt home, they could move in. And we were right. This “systems-built” method is a better way to build. And smarter. And more efficient.
Material savings. By purchasing lumber, sheet rock, carpet, paint, and other materials in large quantities, our plants pay less for them. This bulk buying, along with years of purchasing experience, affords the best quality and value in building components.
Avoid cost overruns or surprises. Because a StalwartBuilt home can be completed in a short timeframe, cash flow is more manageable and financing costs are reduced. And since the in-plant construction is completed at a fixed price, there’s less room for error in costing.
Faster turnaround. Most site-built homes take up to a year to plan and construct. StalwartBuilt homes take just 30-60 days. Upon delivery to a prepared foundation, our homes can be assembled by our trained crew and weather-sealed in a very short time.
